For my main project of year one I chose a brief that required me to recreate an environment that could be used for film purposes. I chose to do a medieval themed environment and to take it a step further I did a reconstruction of Coull castle which there inst much left off today.

On Site Research i went to the ruin of the castle i decided to develop and took some pictures of the main remaining parts. While trying to figure out what the castle would look i did some line-work overlays on these ruins to get an idea of what it would have looked like. One handy image i got was a floor-plan of the castle from a history book.

Theses are some of the development screenshots i taken during the project. I had a lot of fun whilst modeling the many components and objects i populated the castle with.  I used many different tools and techniques during the creation of these objects i used tools from cloth to boolean.
